Muhammad Abubakar Khan
Abubakar is a senior associate at Orange Grove Bio and a Ph.D. candidate at Dartmouth College in the Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology. His thesis research focuses on understanding the non-canonical regulation of a sterol regulatory element binding protein (SREBP) in Aspergillus fumigatus, one of the top pathogens in cystic fibrosis lung disease. He is interested in identifying unmet medical needs, and to work across functional elements to impact the transformation of academic innovations to high-impact medicines. He is excited about the experiential learning opportunity and a real-world experience in biotechnology with Orange Grove Bio. Abubakar obtained his B.S. in Biology from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan.
