Ashwin Iyer
Senior Associate

Ashwin is a senior associate at Orange Grove Bio and a PhD candidate at university of Michigan in the department of Molecular and Cellular Pathology. His thesis focuses on Understanding enhancer-hijacking mechanisms in Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma. In this regard, he uses several epigenomics datasets and CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing toolkit to answer the questions in his project. Apart from research, he is part of a student-run Venture Capital group (Wolverine Venture Fund) at the Ross Business School for the last 2 years where he has done several due-diligences on their portfolio companies. He is extremely passionate about Biotech Venture Capital. He holds a BS in Bioengineering from India.
